Mark is well respected and connected within the ranks of the security industry. Starting working as a security guard in 2002 he worked for a number of security companies from roles varied as crowd controller, Bodyguard through to armed cash in transit guard and eventually to providing advice as a security consultant.

In achieving this Mark now holds licenses 1A (Unarmed Guard), 18 (Body Guard), 1C (Crowd Controller), 1F (Armed Guard), 2A (Security Consultant), and 28 (Sell Security Products) which he keeps current by working in his spare time within the industry. It is through this commitment he brings extensive and current industry knowledge to his clients which enables him to provide a superior level of service to his customers.

Mark commenced in the Insurance industry after leaving the Australian Army and started working in the area he knew best, security liability. Over the past 15 years he has developed an encyclopaedic knowledge in this area and has been instrumental in developing covers that are now seen as being essential for businesses operating in Security within Australia and indeed throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Apart from his security licences and experience, Mark holds a Diploma in Insurance Broking and is uniquely positioned to provide his clients with advice that comes with a deep understanding rarely found inside the insurance industry.

Enthusiastic and well connected in the insurance industry, Gary has been employed in the industry full time since 1976. He brings with him a vast array of experiences from holding positions from Senior Manager in insurance companies to establishing and running his own successful insurance business.

In 2008 he was appointed to run the Sydney operations for a large central coast based brokerage, which included an amalgamation of the two sydney offices into one. He worked to bring all the staff together, allowing them to focus on their individual areas of expertise; enabling the company to grow and allowing the company to become a specialist brokerage in three different areas.

Gary holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), a Diploma of General Insurance and a Diploma in Work Health and Safety.

Outside work, Gary is an avid collector of antique and current military medals and decorations, has a keen interest in exotic and unusual motor vehicles and is an accomplished sports target shooter.

Robyn joined the MDS Insurances team as a Broker Assistant after completing her Tier Two Accreditation. Robyn provides invaluable support to the MDS brokers which includes assisting claim lodgement, placing general insurance risks and pursuing claim updates for clients.

She is eager to learn about insurance products and services, and how brokers assist clients in choosing the best insurance for their individual needs.

Louise started her career in the insurance industry in 1999 within the retail sector before obtaining employment at an Insurance Brokerage as a claims handler, after completing her Diploma of
Financial Services (General Insurance) and Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) was promoted to an Account Manager.

Louise’s knowledge within the general insurance sector ranges across a large variety of insurances such as Retail, Business, Professional Services, Property Owners, Builders, Trades people, Manufacturing, Wholesalers, Amusement Operators, Transport Operators and Motor Trades.

When MDS established their offices in the Hawkesbury, the area Louise grew up and still lives in she contacted MDS to secure her position within this ever-growing business and has been an invaluable member of the team ever since.

Maddy started her insurance career in 2023 when she joined the MDS team.

She has completed her studies to become a qualified insurance broker and assists in all back-office support of the broking staff including assisting in the placement of risks into the insurance market and responding to underwriting and client requests. Maddy is also an actively involved in the claims handling process and is often the main contact for our clients in response to claims.
